We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Skip Hire Sales/Technical Co-ordinator at our head office in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

Key responsibilities:

As Skip Hire Sales/Technical Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage sales, co-ordinate and effectively run Skip Hire bookings through the SkipTrak system.
  • Manage site transportation and co-ordinate logistics.
  • To assist the Divisional Manager with statutory compliance, customer care and technical aspects.
  • To assist in the development of the Skip Hire Division.
  • To support other operations, such as the weighbridge system, and to provide cover when required.


  • An effective communicator with excellent customer skills and phone manner.
  • Computer literate.
  • Highly organised and the ability to deliver targets and reporting.


  • Previous experience or understanding of the waste industry or vehicle scheduling is preferred but not essential.
  • A good understanding of transport logistics, operational responsibility and environmental legislation would be an advantage.

Hours of work:

  • Monday – Friday 7am-5pm.
  • Occasional Saturday mornings, paid as overtime.
