Open to both trade and retail, TG Builders Merchants is a respected supplier of building and construction materials with branches throughout Mid Wales, Shropshire, Cheshire and Worcester.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Procurement Manager based at our Head Office on the outskirts of Ellesmere, Shropshire.  The successful candidate will help keep abreast of the company’s supply needs and will be able to plan, direct and coordinate the purchasing of products, ensuring we are following the best buying deals and simultaneously making sure that each of our 8 branches has the correct level of stock to help them run efficiently.

We are looking for a successful, driven person who has strong trading knowledge and has worked in the Builders Merchants sector previously.

Role requirements:

• Good industry knowledge, having already been in a similar role
• Be able to analyse the current buying system to identify essential market factors and alterations in the demand and supply of our products
• Have a desire for accuracy and detail
• Be able to build strong working relationships with our branch managers and suppliers
