Summary

We are seeking to recruit a number of Full Time Concrete Mixer Drivers to join our teams in; Ellesmere, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Wrexham and Chester.

These roles are vital in ensuring the timely delivery of concrete to our valued clients, supporting our mission of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Operate concrete mixer trucks safely and efficiently to deliver products to construction sites.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers and dispatch teams.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driving license with relevant certifications.
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles, preferably concrete mixer trucks.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to transportation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role.

TG Concrete, Batcher – Porthmadog, Gwynedd

Summary

We are seeking to recruit a Full Time Concrete Batcher at our Porthmadog plant.

This role is vital in ensuring the timely delivery of concrete to our valued clients, supporting our mission of quality and reliability.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Occasional Saturday overtime: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Responsibilities

  • To effectively operate a batching plant to the standards required by the company using laid down procedures
  • To ensure the site, plant, buildings and equipment are kept in a clean and tidy condition and to always maintain security
  • To receive customer’s enquiries and orders in a polite and courteous manner, maintaining the company image to the highest standard
  • To ensure that all technical testing required to produce concrete at the plant is carried out to the correct standards and timescales
  • To supervise other staff and drivers at the plant to ensure optimum productivity without compromising health and safety, environmental, or QA standard
  • To maintain awareness/ compliance with the company’s health and safety and environmental policies and communicate perceived/ known no conformances immediately to the appropriate department head.

 Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of concrete production, plant and materials
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to plan organise and prioritise own workload
  • Composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong customer focus.

TG Group, Garage Mechanic – Ellesmere, Shropshire

The Role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Garage Mechanic to join our busy workshop team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
  • Occasional Saturday overtime: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans, HGVs and light commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records
  • Support the wider team to keep the workshop running efficiently
  • Good understanding of current MOT testing standards and regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK HGV driving licence (Essential)
  • MOT Tester Qualifications (Desirable)
