TG Enviro, Weighbridge Operator / Transport Planner – Ellesmere, Shropshire

Tudor Griffiths Group are seeking to recruit a Full Time Weighbridge Operator / Transport Planner based at our head office in Ellesmere, Shropshire.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately record all incoming transactions through the weighbridge system.
  • Assist customers with the correct documentation of transactions when collecting aggregates.
  • Conduct public weighing services as required.
  • Coordinate and plan daily transport movements for the company’s fleet.
  • Liaise with satellite plants to monitor aggregate stock levels and organise deliveries accordingly.
  • Support the management team in ensuring statutory compliance, customer care, and technical aspects relating to the waste received and deliveries scheduled.
  • Learn other systems, such as those related to the Skip Division, to provide cover when necessary.

Skills / Experience:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet targets and produce timely reports.
  • Experience or familiarity with transport scheduling, the waste industry, and aggregates is beneficial.
  • Understanding of operational responsibilities and environmental legislation is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is preferred.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 6.30am-5pm, with occasional overtime.

Job description

TG Concrete, part of the Tudor Griffiths Group, are seeking to recruit a Full Time Concrete Mixer Driver, based in Tattenhall (Chester), Cheshire.

To be successful in applying, the candidate must be a hard-working individual and a team player with a positive attitude and good health and safety awareness. Ideally the candidate will have past experience in working as a mixer driver and must hold the necessary driving qualifications.
