Operating under the name of Tudor Griffiths Transport Ltd, the sand and gravel quarry at Wood Lane, Ellesmere, Shropshire supplies aggregates to the Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid Wales and North Wales markets.

In addition to locally produced sand and gravel, customers may also order limestone and granite aggregates, such as MOT Type1, crusher run products etc. and speciality aggregates and decorative stones in every imaginable colour.

All aggregates are available for :

  • Delivery or collection in full, bulk or packed and palletised loads 10 tonnes ~ 24 tonnes
  • Packed materials are in 1 tonne bulk bags, 40kg and 25kg bags
  • Smaller amounts can be collected from one of our five builders merchants branches, details of which are available on the TG Builders Merchants page of this website

Garden Centre proprietors will be interested to learn that they can now cut out the "middle man" by paying a visit to the Wood Lane Quarry, where they can personally select from the largest array of rockery stones and glacial cobbles in the area.
