Natural History

The area is a wildlife paradise with large areas of unspoilt countryside.  Cim Farm and Trem-Y-Mor  provide an excellent base for bird and mammal watching.  The Llyn Peninsula is one of the few areas within the U.K. where the rare bird species, the Chough, can be regularly seen.  Female Stonechat at Cim Farm

The West Coast Surf Festival takes place during October 2004.

The Abersoch Jazz Festival takes place between 11th – 13th June 2004.
